Among other fields, Intercond has a wide experience in the manufacture of cables for applications in the marine environment, like cables for seismic operations, used by marine geophysical survey contractors, requiring equipments to suit their individual deployment operation and data acquisition systems. Cables used in these extreme environments need to be reliable, durable and must guarantee the requested performances. These products include: streamers, tow-lead cables, deck lead cables, seabed cables.
Cables and tethers for Remotely Operated Vehicles represent the vital connection between the vehicle and the vessel, providing the mechanical link, as well as electrical power and communications. These products include: neutrally buoyant tethers, aramid fibres‚ strength member cables, composite fibre optic and electrical tethers.
High performances are required also for underwater cameras and instrumentation.
These products include: video and communication cables, power and signal cables, lighting and control cables.
Our engineering design department studies and designs custom cables to be suitable for the requested application. Together with the customer, we decide the necessary tests to be carried out on cables, depending on the performances they have to meet. |
